"Campbell says she worked at the plant the data center is replacing. She says she can #39;t imagine the new facility being more environmentally dangerous than the old one, which was formerly used for uranium enrichment during the Cold War. Having worked out there, I just don #39;t feel like it #39;s that big of an issue. People that haven #39;t worked out there, they probably are more skeptical than those of us who have. Several people tell me they worry about rising utility rates, increased noise, and how much water the facility will use."

For Estes, the debate comes down to a bigger picture. I #39;m glad that we #39;re keeping up with China and Russia. We have to do these things to be competitive in the world, protect our freedoms. So I just think it #39;s almost a necessary evil."
